Times of crisis test what you really believe and who you really are. You’re soul and bone deep weary. You can’t keep up with those who generally lend their strength. You are so not yourself. And in times like that you really need kind and patient reminders of who you are and what you most believe.

     Alanis’ song was a lovely reminder. She just rocks. This isn’t the first time I’ve listened to a song of hers and walked away pondering like mad and all but weeping. I utterly believe that these lyrics are truth. I also believe they are the hardest kind of truth to flesh out daily. Here, I’ll just let her lyrics speak.
