But I never miss a movement
Graceful as she stoops to dip her brush
Finishing some joke or story
Entrancing me with her gently focused stroke
Raising her head half smiling
She has caught me watching
Smirks in the knowing
Blushing I turn back to painting
But I never miss a movement
She doesn’t think I’m listening
