Love and Blessings
My best-friend, you crossed my mind today
Not that, that is anything new.
Something in the sky about to take wing
Reminded me to say a prayer for you.
Sometimes its just a rustle
Like the sound of wings
Sometimes it’s the sunlight
Slanting down through shades of green.
Oh my friend, you are never far from me
The Spirit fills the distant miles.
I can feel His presence dear
Holding to your hand and mine.
Sometimes it’s like a vice grip
With a strength as strong as steel.
Sometimes arms around me
Is more what I feel.
But every time that feeling
Grabs hold of my heart’s strings
I send up my love and blessings
carried on angel wings.
I’m so thankful for our intercessor
He’s been here before
How awesome that our advocate
Is the risen Lord
He no longer calls us servants
He calls us His friends
So I know He understands and grants
A love that never ends.
I am sending up my love and blessings carried on angel’s wings……
