Where I find healing…

Thursday, March 20, 2008

The pine and oak were calling me home

The dogwoods and daffodils blooming for spring

I had to go back to where I belong

I need to spend some time healing

 Marshall Hotel

So I drove all day to be with you

I’d do it all over again

To be where you are for a moment

I just needed my best friend

Coffee and chatting and laughing

Crying and hugging your son

Sidewalk chalk coloring and snuggling

Sitting out warm in the sun

 Chase the Great

So I drove all day to be with you

I’d do it all over again

To be where you are for a moment

I just needed my best friend

This life can beak us down

We fight it and keep on the move

But I know that I will find healing

In just a moment with you

So I drove all day to be with you

I’d do it all over again

To be where you are for a moment

I just needed my best friend

My best friend and her hubbie
